Canon introduces new entry-level mirrorless

The new Canon EOS M200 builds on the popular M100 with an upgraded processor, improved autofocus and 4K movie shooting.

With an APS-C 24.1-megapixel sensor, the latest Canon DIGIC 8 processor, upgraded autofocus and more, the EOS M200 is a camera with a blend of DSLR quality and smartphone convenience.

With a pleasing RSP of £499.99, the new mirrorless may be an appealing option for content creators and beginners alike. It’s not just the price tag that lends itself to the vlogging demographic though – the M200 features a 180° tilting screen which shoots in both landscape and portrait mode for smartphone playback.

The M200 also features a suite of effects, filters and colour adjustment tools to apply to photographs when composing an image or after they have been taken. Available after effects are similar to popular photo apps, with a range of creative filters including grainy black & white, fisheye and soft focus. The camera is compatible with Canon’s EF-M lens range.

The Canon EOS M200 is available for pre-order now.
