Fujifilm X Webcam out now

Posted on May 27, 2020

Fujifilm’s latest software lets you use your mirrorless system as a webcam.

In light of the current lockdown situation and work-from-home efforts, virtually connecting may be more important than ever. With new software, Fujifilm hopes to offer a better solution than any PC’s built-in webcam.

Fujifilm X Webcam lets users connect their Fujifilm camera to their PC via USB and use it to create a video call environment with significantly improved image quality, including use of advanced functions such as Film Simulation modes.

Currently, the software is only available for Windows computers, and compatible cameras are limited to the GFX100, GFX 50S, GFX 50R, X-H1, X-Pro2, X-Pro3, X-T2, X-T3 and X-T4. For more information and to download the Fujifilm X Webcam software, please visit the Fujifilm website.
