Benro launches waterproof tripod

The Benro Hyrda2 joins three existing carbon fibre tripods in the Induro Classic range

The Hydra is a five section, carbon tripod with a 17kg maximum weight capacity, and while it can fold down to just over 42cm, it extends to a very handy 153cm maximum height.

It’s the Hyrda2’s waterproof leg locks and feet that give it a big selling point. The metal twist lock are over-sized for easy handling especially when wearing gloves. The machined centre locking collar is also generously proportioned for the same reason.

Three built-in allen keys come with the tripod, and the Hydra2 comes with a tool kit and carrying case for storage.

The Induro Hyrda2 is available now at £450.
