Fujifilm’s House of Photography reopens with new features and events
Posted on May 31, 2024
Fujifilm yesterday marked the reopening of its House of Photography in London’s Covent Garden following refurbishment
The updated venue will feature a range of events and upgraded facilities that Fujifilm says reflect its commitment to its creative community.
The House of Photography first opened in 2019 as a shop and experience space that encouraged consumers to get hands on with its products through a variety of interactive displays.
The renovated space includes several new features, including a redesigned print workshop, the Fujifilm School learning space, dedicated zones for the GFX medium format system and X Series digital cameras and an updated studio offering professional headshot services.
The venue will also now host more events including live music, fitness classes, panel discussions, workshops and guided photo walks.
The reopening was marked with a traditional Japanese Kagami Biraki ceremony, which is associated with embracing new beginnings and creating unity in communities.
The event also marked the launch of the Life as You See it exhibition. Throughout June and July, visitors to the House of Photography can print one of their photos for free and display it in the gallery.
The House of Photography aims to support London’s photography community through these enhanced features and events. For more information, visit the website.
