Born Free launches summer wildlife photography competition

To raise awareness for its campaign against trophy and canned hunting, charity Born Free is calling for your entries to its new #ShootToThrill photography competition

Running for the duration of summer, international wildlife charity Born Free’s Shoot To Thrill photography competition seeks to raise awareness for their new campaign against trophy and canned hunting, which is the hunting of wild animals, usually lions, in a confined area they cannot escape from.

Photographers of all levels are asked to submit their wildlife photos, taken anywhere in the world, by Monday 30 September 2019. The only requirement is that photographs must portray the beauty of freedom.

All entries will be uploaded to Born Free’s Facebook page and the winner will be selected by public vote. The winner will be awarded a lesson with Born Free’s professional in-house photography team, a canvas print of their photograph presented and signed by Born Free founder and actress Virginia McKenna, and a host of items from the Born Free shop.

To submit a photograph, simply email it to [email protected] by Monday 30 September, along with details of the location where the picture was taken and the photographer’s name, age and contact details. A maximum of five entries per person will be accepted.
