Camera Club of the Year 2017-18 is now open for entries!

Calling all camera clubs and photographic societies, our Camera Club of the Year competition is back for another year.

If you fancy being crowned Camera Club of the Year 2017-18 and getting the chance to battle it out in a final shoot-out sign up for our Camera Club of the Year competition.

In teams of five you’ll be given a new theme each month and each of your team members will be required to submit an image around that theme before the deadline. After each theme has closed, the images will be judged and scored by the Photography News team. At the end of the competition the top five scoring camera club teams will take part in a secret shoot-out, the details of which will be revealed to them on the day.

The 2016-17 winners were New City Photographic Society, you can read about last year’s event here.

Any photography club or group with five or more members is eligible to enter. Only five members of each club or group can enter per round. Online groups, internal company clubs and clubs not affiliated to the PAGB are eligible to enter. To take part in this year’s Camera Club of the Year competition sign-up to our Members’ Area and then head to the Camera Club of the Year section
