Posted on Oct 14, 2022

The eco-friendly ZV-1F camera sits nicely in Sony’s existing line-up and is perfect for Gen-Z vloggers

Expanding its reach, Sony’s ZV-1F is small enough to fit into a pocket while being a dream to use. Simplicity as focus, it has been designed to harness the users’ creative power.

Boost Your Creative Power
An ultra-wide 20mm prime lens and wide field of view are perfect for selfies and capturing more background. Beautiful background bokeh in both stills and video highlight the subject or create a softer look, while skin tone is optimised with a ‘Soft Skin Effect’ option that smooths and reduces wrinkles. Face Priority AE automatically adjusts the brightness so that faces can be captured with optimal brightness, even in situations where the light changes. The ZV-1F boasts high precision focusing and Eye AF for both humans and animals which allows the autofocus to fix tenaciously on the face and eyes avoiding being distracted by other subjects. Users can easily change subjects via the camera’s touchscreen. Image stabilisation is available in Active Mode electronic) to ensure footage is steady and smooth when walking.

The Creative Look function gives users preset options to create desired atmospheres with differences in tone, brightness, colour depth and more. 10 modes are available to enhance creativity and allows users to share content immediately with no need for editing.

Shoot in both slow motion at 5 x slower speed and quick motion at 60 x faster hyper lapse speed to achieve a desired effect with S&Q mode. High-quality sound is vital to capture perfect content. A Directional 3-Capsule Mic and wind screen provide clear voice recording and reduced noise in windy outdoor conditions.

The ZV-1Fhas been designed for intuitive use, focusing on content capture. Lightweight – at approx. 229g – it is compac enough for everyday use and convenience. It also features a Vari-Angle LCD touch screen with features and settings, including the ability to zoom – operation is instinctive.

A Bokeh Switch button allows users to quickly switch between background bokeh when they want to highlight the face and without, even whilst recording video. Seamlessly shift focus between face and products with Product Showcase setting – perfect for reviews.

The ZV-1F self-timer and recording lamp make video content even easier to capture.
