FUJIFILM’s INSTAX SQUARE Link means you can print directly from your smartphone – ideal for instant photography fans

If you’re looking to be able to print directly from your phone, you’re in luck! FUJIFILM has launched its small but mighty INSTAX SQUARE, completing the family of the Link Smartphone printers. It produces instant prints at 1.5 times the size of its INSTAX mini counterparts, commencing printing in just 12 seconds.

Augmented Reality (AR) and digital image sharing expands your phone’s capabilities, alongside other new and unique features that facilitate creativity. Add special effects, text, images, background colours, doodles and animations via the QR code printed on the photo and see the edits in action on your smartphone.

Akin to others in the Link Smartphone printer line-up, SQUARE Link includes a variety of frame templates, digital stickers and print mode options that allow the image maker to boost creativity with the free, downloadable app.

The SQUARE Link App connects to popular apps, while INSTAX Connect™ allows users to share INSTAX images digitally and sending it to any connected device like a smartphone, tablet, etc.. You can even get text responses directly for the image, while recipients who are also SQUARE Link users can print a copy of the image.

Choose between two print mode options – INSTAX-Rich Mode for deep, enhanced colours and INSTAX-Natural Mode for a more classic look. Artistic filters, like adjusting brightness, contrast or saturation of the image can be utilised instantly. Through the SQUARE Link app, combine up to nine pictures into a collage using the Collage feature.

The INSTAX SQUARE supports continuous printing and prints up to 100 images per charge, seamlessly via Bluetooth. The printer is compact, lightweight, and portable with a striped texture finish, in either dark green or white.

In addition, FUJIFILM has expanded the Mini 11 colourway with an attractive pastel green.
