Episode five, out now!

Posted on May 29, 2020

We’ve launched a Photography News podcast – and we want you to get involved.

Our new podcast is out right now, and you can listen for free via the Photography News website, or on YouTube, Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring you news and technique in a new way, but most importantly, connect with you, our readers, better than ever before.

In episode five, the Photography News team rattles through a variety of subjects. Kingsley kicks things off with some deep sky astrophotography after finding out it’s a tough subject to crack. He and Will are long exposure experts, though, and have some great advice on the subject. Elsewhere, Roger is a die-hard shutter-release button focuser, but Will and Kingsley make the case for back-button focusing. There’s also talk of sunset shooting, lockdown lifting, camera modification and stills vs video, rounded out with this week’s reader questions.

We’d love you to contribute to the future episodes of the podcast by getting in touch. Please send us any questions you have about kit or technique, share what’s been working for you when shooting indoors or out lately, tell us your favourite photography stories and let us know what you’d most like to hear in future episodes. But, most importantly, make sure you listen to get some gems of photographic advice from editor Will Cheung and the PN team.

To get in touch with any or all of the above, send an email to: [email protected].
