Leica launches M10 Monochrom

Posted on Jan 30, 2020

The M10 Monochrom only shoots in black & white and houses a 40MP sensor.

Building on the legendary Leica M-system, the camera takes monochrome photography to the next level. It is the first M-system black & white camera to offer the huge ISO range of 160-100,000, making its low-light performance and dynamic range better than any of its predecessors.

The M10 Monochrom also features a newly developed 40MP sensor, promised to be the best black & white sensor Leica has ever made.

When it comes to handling, users can expect a minimalist design identical to that of the M10-P, and a discreet look and a focus on only the essential camera functions. This includes the quietest shutter release Leica has ever made, making it ideal for any situation.

The new addition will work with all lenses in the Leica M range.

The Leica M10 Monochrom is available now with an RRP of £7250.
