Lowepro announces PhotoSport PRO travel backpacks

These sustainably made backpacks conclude Lowepro’s Photosport III Series
The PhotoSport III Series is aimed at adventure photographers who need practical solutions for carrying their kit around over multiple-day journeys. With this in mind, the backpacks have been designed to prioritise comfort and provide a range of storage solutions to suit the needs of each photographer. Lowepro are also conscious that sustainability is important to those who spend a lot of time out in nature, which is why its backpacks are made from recycled materials and have a loading bar label that clearly indicates the percentage of recycled fabrics used to make the bag.
The PhotoSport PRO is available in two sizes: 55L and 70L. Both have capacity for a full frame mirrorless or DSLR camera with a vertical grip and a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached. There is also room for two extra lenses or a portable camera drone and accessories, depending on the individual needs of the photographer. The backpacks include an integrated GearUp™ camera insert and accessory strap system for multiple carrying configurations. In addition to camera gear, the PhotoSport PRO backpacks are designed to carry all the essential camping gear needed for a multiple-day journey, including a sleeping bag, tent, meal camp, jacket and trekking poles.
Each bag comes with a modular GearUp PRO XL,* which serves as a removable camera compartment and can be accessed quickly and easily from either the front or back. An 18L RunAbout daypack can also be bought separately as a compact storage option for carrying the camera compartment whilst taking photos away from basecamp.
The PhotoSport PRO backpacks feature a customisable fit, with both sizes offering two sizes of shoulder straps: S-M and M-L. All shoulder straps are padded with perforated foam to offer maximum comfort. Torso length, shoulder pad angle, chest straps and waist straps can all be changed to fit your individual build. The backpacks also incorporate an ActivLift™ system that can be adjusted to achieve optimum weight distribution even when carrying heavier loads over longer journeys.
With sustainability in mind, all Lowepro’s green line label backpacks are made with recycled materials and show clearly what percentage of the material is recycled (measured as recycled yam content by surface area as a percent of total fabric surface are).
