Manfrotto expands Befree travel tripod range

Posted on Aug 8, 2024

Manfrotto has announced the expansion of its Befree travel tripod series with the Befree Advanced AS, GT PRO 3-Way and GT PRO Tripod Legs

The expanded Befree lineup now includes Arca-compatible, hybrid and legs-only options for versatility, with each available in both aluminium and carbon fibre versions.

Manfrotto tells us these new additions aim to facilitate high-quality image and video capture in various environments.

All follow in the footsteps of their siblings with a compact, travel-friendly design. Here’s a rundown:

Befree Advanced AS

Available at £172.95 for aluminium and £250.95 for carbon fibre, this model is fully Arca-compatible, allowing the direct mounting of accessories like L brackets, camera cages or tele lens collars without a QR plate interface.

Manufactured in Italy, it meets certified industry payload standards, offering flexibility for professionals.

Befree GT PRO 3-Way

Priced at £285.95 for aluminium and £372.95 for carbon fibre, this model features a levelling column and a 3-way head with fluid pan and tilt movements, making it suitable for both photo and video applications.

It aims to support hybrid creators who need a compact tripod for various shooting needs.

Befree GT PRO Tripod Legs

These tripod legs are available at £172.95 for aluminium and £259.95 for carbon fibre. They offer a fully foldable design and a strong payload capacity.

They are suitable for pairing with any head, including the Befree 496 Ball Head or other Manfrotto heads, providing flexibility for studio setups.

Availability

Befree Advanced AS, Befree GT PRO 3-Way and Befree GT PRO Tripod Legs are all available now. Visit the Manfrotto website for more information.
