Megadap releases EFTZ21 Canon EF to Nikon Z adapter

Posted on Apr 25, 2024

The Megadap EFTZ21 adapter makes over 150 Canon EF lenses available to Nikon Z users

By offering the ability to use Canon EF lenses on a Nikon Z camera, the EFTZ21 promises great things for Nikon Z users by opening access to a huge range of lenses that were previously off limits.

On paper, the adapter boasts a long list of features, supporting autofocus, aperture control and image stabilisation technology, plus EXIF signal transmission.

On-adapter controls also provide options for personalisation. There is a custom control ring for settings such as aperture, exposure compensation or ISO, along with a customisable L-FN button that can be used for functions like focus lock and exposure lock. The company promises full support for all on-lens controls, such as focus distance and AF/MF.

On top of all this, the EFTZ21 is said to be dust resistant, water resistant and anti-slip, while a copper bayonet mount and nickel plating provides additional durability.

Pricing and availability

The Megadap EFTZ21 is now available to buy from the Megadap webstore for $299 and is also available from authorised dealers. For more information, visit the official product page.
