Nikon is developing a D6 camera and a new telephoto zoom

The D6 is Nikon’s most advanced DSLR to date, according to the brand.

Nikon has announced the development of the D6 and the AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR telephoto zoom lens. The camera marks the 20th anniversary of Nikon’s single-digit D-series, while the new lens celebrates 60 years of the Nikon F mount, adopted for the D-series.

Both products respond to the demands of professional photographers, offering professional-level performance even in challenging conditions.

The new product developments suggest Nikon is committed to expanding its DSLR system possibilities, as well as a wide line-up of lenses.

No further details have been announced at this stage.
