Nikon Z 9 in development

Posted on Mar 29, 2021

The next camera for the Nikon Z mount, the Nikon Z 9, is officially in development. Scheduled for release later this year, the full-frame (Nikon FX-format) mirrorless camera is set to be Nikon’s most sophisticated release yet in terms of both technology and performance.

Utilising Nikon’s newly-developed FX-format stacked CMOS sensor, along with an all-new image-processing engine, the Z 9 promises to deliver the best still and video performance from Nikon to date. The Z 9 will also include support for 8K video recording, as well as a range of other video specifications to satisfy diverse needs and workflows. Expect slick operability and excellent user experience, as the Nikon Z 9 looks set to impress.

Further information regarding the release of the Z 9 will be announced at a later date. Keep an eye on our upcoming issues for coverage. For more information, please visit the Nikon website.
