One, two, three from Tamron

Tamron announces three new lenses to mark 40 years of its SP lens series

Marking the 40th anniversary of its SP lens series, Tamron has developed the SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD, which offers a fast f/1.4 aperture, as well as a high-speed and high-precision AF.  All features of the SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD are available when used on a mirrorless camera via an adapter.

For full-frame DSLRs Tamron has introduced the 35-150mm f/2.8-4 Di VC OSD, targeted at portrait photographers. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 0.45m across the entire focal range and also features a Dual MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) system which provides optimal AF performance and vibration compensation.

The third and final lens in the announcement is the 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD for Sony E-mount cameras. This high-speed ultra, wide-angle zoom is powered by its RXD (rapid extra-silent stepping drive) stepping motor unit, to offer both quiet and high-speed autofocus when shooting stills or video. This lens has a 67mm filter size and a minimum focusing distance of 0.19m.

All prices and availability are yet to be confirmed.
