Paris Photo to launch new photography fair in New York

Photographic art fair giant Paris Photo creates bond between Paris and New York with new fair scheduled for 2020

Paris Photo, the world’s largest international photographic art fair, is launching the Paris Photo New York fair, scheduled to be held at Pier 94, New York on 2 to 5 April 2020. The fair will feature exhibitions, conversations and project spaces, drawing from the city’s thriving arts and photography scene as well as its rich network of arts-based museums and organisations.

Paris Photo New York will be presented in collaboration with the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD). Founded in New York in 1979, AIPAD represents more than 120 of the world’s leading galleries in fine art photography.

Florence Bourgeois, Director, and Christoph Wiesner, Artistic Director, who will head both the New York and Paris fairs, said in a joint statement, “we are very excited to create a bridge connecting Paris and New York.”
