Profoto D30 flash released

Posted on Oct 31, 2024

Profoto has introduced the Profoto D30 flash, a versatile pro light that’s good for both studio and location work

The Profoto D30 is a 500 Ws mains-powered monolight with an 11 f-stop range that Profoto says is built to handle varied shooting environments.

The D30 features a bi-colour LED modelling light, a fast recycling time and compatibility with larger modifiers.

It offers three distinct modes: ECO for improved colour consistency, Boost for additional power, and Freeze for minimising motion blur.

Weighing 2.1kg, the D30 is certainly portable, with a robust design intended for easy setup and transport.

Wireless connectivity through Profoto’s AirX system enables remote control and compatibility with Bluetooth-enabled mobile apps.
