Rotolight announces NEO 3 and AEOS 2 lights

Posted on Oct 13, 2021

The LED lights are available to pre-order exclusively through Rotolight’s Kickstarter campaign

The next generation of Rotolight LED lighting products, the NEO 3 and AEOS 2, has just been announced. Rotolight claims that the NEO 3 is the brightest on-camera LED light ever produced. It is a pocket-sized LED light that’s easy to transport, making it well-suited to shooting on the go. Available as an individual light or a three-light kit and powered by a renewable lithium battery, this LED lighting product promises to be a reliable lighting solution for your creative projects. The Rotolight AEOS 2 is a lightweight LED that offers users excellent versatility and the ability to achieve a beautiful soft light in almost any location. Rotolight claim that this is the thinnest and lightest 1 x 1 panel ever made, with a weight of just under 1.4kg.

Both products boast a zero recycle time and include a brand-new feature that allows photographers to flash in any one of 16.7 million colours or 2,500 digital filters, enabling you to achieve the exact colour tone and create the desired atmosphere for your shoot.

Additional features include a new, intuitive touchscreen that allows you to quickly and efficiently apply your favourite settings and save time navigating the feature-rich menu whilst on a shoot.

Furthermore, the NEO 3 and AEOS 2 can both be operated remotely using the new Rotolight iOS and Android native app which allows you to adjust colour, power, SFX and more with just your mobile phone. The app allows you to create custom groups and projects on up to twenty lights at the same time, so you can quickly change between settings for maximum efficiency.

Rotolight has also developed the Smartsoft Box™ for the AEOS 2, which it claims is the world’s first intelligent softbox. It allows users to switch effortlessly between soft output to a harder light source and makes it easy to adjust the diffusion, focus and spread of your light without adding any gels.

Finally, soft light is easier to achieve than ever before thanks to the development of a new Rotolight Universal Speedring adaptor, which gives users access to an extensive suite of Bowens-mount modifers.

Rotolight is releasing these exciting products as a show of gratitude for the constant support it has received from its customers over the last ten years and as a way of inviting new users to discover its award-winning LED technology.

The NEO 3 and AEOS 2 are available now exclusively on Kickstarter until November 16th. Orders will be shipped in February 2022. For more information and early bird offers, please visit Rotolight’s Kickstarter website here.
