RX10 IV joins the Sony Cyber-shot line-up

The Sony RX10 IV features a 24-600mm f/2.4-4 lens for versatile shooting.

The new Cyber-shot model is the first in the Sony RX10 series to feature a Fast Hybrid AF system, which combines 315 phase-detection AF points and contrast-detection AF to offer a super-fast focus, which focuses in just 0.03 seconds.

With a 1.0-type 20.1-megapixel sensor, 4K video and an incredible focal range from 24-600mm the Sony RX10 IV is ideal for shooting a variety of subjects. Its lens also features a super ED glass element and ED aspherical lenses, offering minimal chromatic aberration, as well as a Zeiss T Coating to reduce flare and ghosting. In addition to this the lens also features built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation which offers 4.5 steps shutter speed improvement.

Other features include a tiltable, touch LCD screen, a “My Menu” function allowing you to custom register regularly used menu items, an Anti-Distortion Shutter and 24fps continuous shooting.

Shipping for the Sony Cyber-shot RX10 IV is due for September and the expected retail price is £1800.
