Sigma joins Nikon Z Mount

Posted on Mar 2, 2023

The Sigma DC DN F1.4 trio are designed as crop sensors and control algorithms, built specifically for Nikon Z Mount camera bodies

Sigma is expanding the reach of its crop-sensor lenses, which are already available for Sony E-mount, Canon EF-M mount, FUJIFILM X Mount, Micro Four Thirds mount and L-Mount.

This launch will happen in stages; the first, a trio of F1.4 primes. The 16mm F1.4 DCDN | Contemporary, the 30mm F1.4 DCDN | Contemporary and the 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary are sharp, fast and compact crop-sensor lenses.

Expertly crafted to operate seamlessly on Nikon Z Mount cameras, the lenses can be used on full-frame Z Mount bodies in crop mode. They contain specifically developed control algorithms, including AF drive and communication speed and optimisation, while supporting Continuous AF and in-camera aberration correction.

You can use the lenses in a range of environments thanks to the durable rubber seal.
