Mark Bauer and Ross Hoddinott give their tips on how to capture stunning landscape photography

Professional landscape photographer Mark Bauer and award-winning wildlife and landscape photographer Ross Hoddinott have combined their expert knowledge to write an updated edition of The Art of Landscape Photography. Unlike many other publications on the same subject, this book tackles the issue of composition in great depth. It focuses on helping photographers to capture meaning and emotion through a thorough overview of the principles of composition and aesthetic design. The book assumes a good working knowledge of the technical basics and explores how technique impacts the aesthetics of the image.

Full of images of beautiful landscapes, The Art of Landscape Photography is led by visual examples, backed up by a discussion of the compositional points they illustrate. All images featured in the book can be found at the back with a summary of the technical details, including camera, lens, ISO, shutter speed, aperture and filtration.

The book is available now for £16.00.
