The WildPhotos one-day photography symposium will celebrate 60 years of wildlife photography
WildPhotos, a photography symposium celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, will be held on October 13, 2024, in Bristol, UK, and will be accessible to a global audience online.
This event, organised by Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Wildscreen, promises a day filled with insightful discussions and exhibitions dedicated to nature photography.
Speakers and programme details
The event will be hosted by Kathy Moran, Jury Chair for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and former Deputy Director of Photography at National Geographic Magazine.
The programme includes talks and panel discussions featuring Thomas P Peschak, a National Geographic Photographer and NGS Storytelling Fellow, alongside other notable wildlife photographers. Discussions will focus on the techniques, challenges and future of nature photography.
Public exhibition
A public exhibition will be held on College Green, displaying a curated selection of images from the global Wildlife Photographer of the Year community. This exhibition aims to highlight the impact of wildlife and conservation photography in promoting environmental awareness.
