With over half a million photos submitted last year, the CEWE Photo Award has grown considerably over just a handful of years. Now in its fourth edition, the 2021 competition asks photographers to submit photos that celebrate the theme ‘our world is beautiful’.
Submissions will fall into one of ten categories: aerial photos, cooking & food, nature, animals, landscapes, sport, people, travel & culture, hobby & leisure and architecture & technology.
The CEWE Photo Award is judged by a panel of international experts who award prizes totalling more than £250,000 to 1000 winners. A winner for each of the ten categories will be selected, one of whom will be crowned the overall winner of the competition.
In light of the current worldwide situation and restrictions on travel, CEWE is encouraging photographers to find the beauty in the small things, as well as finding fresh perspectives in ordinary life. Images from photographers’ back catalogues will also be accepted.
Entrants have one year to submit their photos. For more information, please visit the CEWE website.
