3 Legged Thing releases window mount clamp kit

Posted on Oct 29, 2024

Tripod brand 3 Legged Thing has introduced a new Camera Window Mount Clamp Kit

The company says the kit is designed for photographers, videographers, birdwatchers and content creators. The clamp enables users to attach cameras or optical devices to vehicle windows or surfaces up to 20mm thick.

The Window Mount Clamp features a standard 3/8”-16 screw mount on top, allowing the attachment of various tripod heads.

It secures to windows or similar edges using a straightforward screw mechanism, with soft rubber linings to prevent marks or scratches on surfaces.

An optional kit includes the AirHed Trinity pan-and-tilt head, both made from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy.

The setup has a load capacity of up to 5kg, suitable for lightweight camera and lens combinations, spotting scopes, and action or 360-degree cameras.

Available now in matte black or moss green, the Window Mount Clamp is priced at £39.99, while the kit with the AirHed Trinity costs £109.99. For more information visit the 3 Legged Thing website.
