Nikon sponsors women-only photography award
The Marilyn Stafford FotoReportage Award celebrates women in documentary photography and offers a £2000 grant.
Nikon has announced it is the sponsor of 2019’s Marilyn Stafford FotoReportage Award. Now in its third year, the global competition celebrates female photographers in the fields of photojournalism and documentary photography.
The award grants £2000 to the winning photographer to be used on her next project. Applications are now open to female photographers at any stage in their careers and of any nationality, providing they have completed at least one documentary photo essay that showcases positive solutions to the world’s biggest social, environmental, economic and cultural issues at a local or global level.

Marilyn Stafford, pioneering photographer and award founder, said, “I’m thrilled to be partnering with Nikon for this year’s awards.
