Sigma announces 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM lens

The new wide-angle lens from Sigma provides a wide aperture and zero distortion.

The Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM | Art lens features three FLD glass elements, three SLD glass elements and three aspherical lens elements, including one large-diameter aspherical element. Similarly, to Sigma’s line-up of sport lenses, the 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM has a dust and splash-proof structure, with special sealings on its mount connection, manual focus ring, zoom ring and cover connection. The lens has a water and oil-repellent coating.

Sigma will now also be offering a Front Conversion Service in which the petal-type hood of the lens can be converted to an exclusive round component, offering greater flexibility for VR videography.
The lens will be available in Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts from March for of £1,399.99.
